• The Long-Term Care Ombudsmen Program: The purpose of the LTCOP is to protect and promote the rights of residents in nursing homes, boarding homes (assisted living) and adult family homes. Ombudsmen work with residents, families and facility staff to provide an effective means to resolve complaints to the resident's satisfaction.
